Shimmer.

A novel dimension expander.

Shimmer comes with four different modes.

reflective

Reflective mode is modeled after traditional dimension expanders, using a combination of series and parallel signal processing. With little to no modulation applied, it preserves much of the original character of the sound. Because modulation is intentionally kept minimal, slight harmonic overlap can occur, introducing a subtle tonal coloration and gentle sense of movement.

Shimmer

Shimmer mode is a streamlined dimension expander mode with a distinctive twist. As the Shimmer control is increased, a sparkling quality emerges from a series of subtle offsets, adding brightness and depth. It serves as a go-to tool for creating glistening spatial textures.

choral

Choral mode applies slow modulation within the dimension expander to create a smooth, natural sense of aural width. It offers a tonally clean stereo image, though the modulation can introduce a slight dampening effect, subtly dulling the sound. This can be compensated for with the Sparkle control, which restores a touch of brightness.

SWIRL

Swirl mode is an experimental hybrid between a dimension expander and a chorusing effect. On tonally rich material, increasing the Swirl control introduces silky frequency movement reminiscent of a chorus. On percussive or spectrally flat sounds, the effect remains restrained enough to have the movements be nearly imperceptible.

 Liven your sound with Shimmer.

Shimmer.

Shimmer provides dimension expansion through four unique modes designed to expand the stereo field, enhance depth perception, widen, and spatialize sounds. Each mode portrays its own distinct character, offering a different approach to shaping space and movement within a mix. From subtle enhancement to immersive transformation, Shimmer gives you detailed control over how sound exists in space. Dive into a new reality with Shimmer.
