Next by Gooey is a step sequencer to chop vocals, synths, and samples.
The Next effect is similar to the trance gating that was commonly heard in electronic music of the 90s.
Next’s internal sample processing engine uses an ADSR (attack, decay, sustain, release) envelope follower, which provides that authentic and articulate sound you would expect from a trance gate.
But Next also has step-panning controls, eight automatable sequences, swing, and triplet mode.
If you are seeking a new plug-in to gate and seeking new rhythmic ideas, Next comes with over fifty factory presets, you’ll find that this is a great plugin to integrate into your workflow.
