Small, efficient, and fun, Talkie transforms frequency-rich sounds into expressive vowel-like tones.
Using a series of carefully tuned filters modeled after the resonances of the human voice, Talkie can shape a signal into familiar vocal articulations like “Ahhh,” “Ooo,” and more.
We loved the moment Talkie could turn a simple waveform into something strangely human, and we hope you enjoy that same experience.
Talkie pairs especially well with harmonically rich sources such as sawtooth waves, synth leads, basses, and noisy textures.

Featuring five vowel shapes along with a continuously morphable control, Talkie makes harmonic rinch synths into vocal-style sounds simple and intuitive.
As an introduction to the Gooey Audio catalog, this one-slider plug-in is both fun and accessible, combining a beautiful real-time spectral display with a surprisingly rich and characterful sound.
