INTRODUCTION:
Brighter is a single knob plug-in. It adds shelving and subtle non-linearities to boost the high-frequency content. The plug-in is simple to use and easy to mix with your music.
OVERVIEW
(1) The Gooey Icon: When hovering the mouse over the icon, a tooltip will appear, which will provide the version number of the product.
(1b) When clicking on the Gooey icon the plugin will be bypassed. To indicate it is bypassed, the icon will change color, and a tooltip will appear.
(2) Preset Save Icon: Click to save a preset. Presets will be stored in a local user file folder.
(3) Preset Scroll Buttons: click to scroll through the list of presets.
(4) Preset Menu: click to see the full list of saved presets. Note: Press Ctrl+z to undo and Ctrl+y to redo.
(5) Brighter Slider: adds an additional 6db of saturation as the slider is turned up, and an additional, multiplicative, 6db of shelving.
(6) Bee Button: pressing this button will toggle on the bee. When the bee is engaged, there’s a base of 6db added to the signal at 5,000 hertz, and an additional 6db is mixed in as the control goes up.
