INTRODUCTION:
Brighter is a single-knob plug-in designed to enhance the high-end of your sound with ease. Using a combination of high-frequency shelving and subtle non-linear processing, Brighter adds clarity and presence.
Simple to use and easy to blend, Brighter can help sounds cut through with added brightness and definition without overwhelming the source material.
OVERVIEW
(1) The Gooey Icon: Hovering over the Gooey icon will display a tooltip containing the current product version number.
(1b) Clicking the Gooey icon will bypass the plug-in. When bypassed, the icon will change color and a tooltip will appear indicating the plug-in is inactive.
(2) Preset Save Icon: Click to save a preset. Presets are stored locally in the user’s preset folder.
(3) Preset Scroll Buttons: Click to scroll through the available presets.
(4) Preset Menu: Click to open the full list of saved presets.
Note: Press Ctrl+Z to undo and Ctrl+Y to redo.
(5) Brighter Slider: Adds up to an additional 6 dB of saturation as the slider is increased, alongside a multiplicative 6 dB high-frequency shelving boost.
(6) Bee Button: Toggles Bee mode on or off. When engaged, Bee adds a fixed 6 dB boost at 5 kHz, with an additional 6 dB mixed in progressively as the Brighter control is increased.
